Bicycle Helmet

Always Wear A Helmet

Day 6, Friday, July 27, 2001

The temperature really dropped after the rain the day before.
This evening, being the last of the ride before we headed back to Auburn, was Awards Night.  One of the events was a prize for the most decorative and unusual helmet.  This gal had hers decorated in the morning and wore it for the day.
Duke belonged to one of the men who operated one of the Ryder trucks and was a regular at the campgrounds.
Another Bike Friday enthusiast
A time capsule was buried here in 1992 to be opened in 2492 This is our night in Cortland, one of the two YMCAs running the Bon Ton.  We were really camping in style, right in the center of town.
Another innovative helmet entry.

I won "Best Campsite" award.  How about that!  (Actually, I had the smallest and the easiest tent to set up)
