Please note, while I was there in June of 2001, I learned that the gentleman who started this museum recently passed on.  His children (who live out of state) are not really interested in keeping it going.  There are six volunteers who are involved with the running of the museum and they have agreed to stay on in this capacity.  The museum does need additional funds in order to stay open.  They were not able to obtain a Grant which had been applied for since the hours they were open were not sufficient -- the museum is not able to be open weekends during the summer due to insufficient manning.  If you live in this area and could volunteer some time, it would be greatly appreciated.  Or if you'd like to send in a donation or become a member to keep this museum going, please do so to the above address.
