The zoo is about an 8-1/2  mile bike ride from Beachcomber Resort Campground, where I usually stay.  Route to follow:  646 to 147 to Route 9 North.

There are monkeys, tigers, bobcats, zebra, black bear, leopards, prairie dogs, fox, deer, exotic birds, reptiles, bison, etc.  Zoo is accredited by the American Association of Zoological Parks and Aquariums, placing it on a level with the finest zoos in the world.  The park itself has a number of nature trails, shelters for picnics.

Aren't these guys cute?
