Bicycle Helmet

Always Wear A Helmet

DON’T DRINK AND BIKE

It may sound like a no-brainer, but riding your bicycle after a couple of cocktails could land you in the hospital—or worse.  A 12-year study at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore found that nearly one fourth of bikers who suffered a fatal injury while riding were legally drunk.  Getting tipsy impaired their motor skills, balance and attention to safety (only 5 percent wore a helmet!).
