Day 6 - Rome to Canajoharie 69.1 miles

0.0 R 0.3 West Bloomfield at corner of North George.  Turn right.
0.3 L 0.2 West Court
0.8 ST 0.9 Cross Erie Blvd.// South James
1.7 L 1.7 Martin (after crossing bridge and going through RR underpass)
3.4 L 0.1 Route 69E (also called Rome-Oriskany Road)
3.5 L 5.9 Enter Erie Canal Way Trail.  There are 2 entrances, the first is for the parking lot and the 2nd for the Trail. The 2nd is better, but the 1st one works also.  Go to end of Canal Way to parking lot exit.
9.4 L 2.0 Route 291N
11.4 BR 0.5 Into Trail Head Parking Lot
11.9 BR 0.1 Go in between posts where "No Motor Vehicles" sign is posted.
12.0 R 3.2 Onto Canal Way Trail
15.2 BR 0.1 At stop sign enter parking lot and go to exit at right hand corner.  Until the next turn you may encounter motor vehicles.
15.3 L 0.1 This is a very sharp left.  Go up small hill.
15.4 ST 0.4 Get off bike to cross RR tracks.
15.8 R 0.8 You will see signs as you look up the hill for Whitesboro and Downtown Utica.  It seems as if you are going to get onto the highway.  At the top of the hill there is a hairpin turn that takes you over the highway and the Canal follows this until the end.
16.6 R 1.4 River Road
18.0 BR 2.3 Over bridge.  Continue on Genesee Street straight without taking any turns.
20.3 R 0.5 Onto Columbus Street
20.8 L 0.2 Onto Broadway
21.0 R   Into Utica City Hall parking lot.
21.0 L 0.1 Broadway
21.1 R 0.4 Columbia Street
21.5 L 0.3 John Street
21.8 ST 0.4 Cross Route 5S and go up ramp
