Erie Canal Bike Trip
Buffalo to Albany, NY

Bicycle Helmet

Always Wear A Helmet

Day 7 - Canajoharie to Schenectady 42.8 miles
Saturday, July 13, 2002

Above is "the leader of the pack" on the left in the orange T-shirt.  To the right is the kindly "sweep" who changed my bike tire for me the previous day when I picked up a piece of glass along the road.

Fort Hunter CANAL DAYS - flea market, entertainment, food.  There were 350 of us cyclists.  The first 50 to hit the fair purchased our helmet ornaments:  butterflies, dragonflies, birds.  I had a red, white and blue helmet so my bird was an eagle.  The other 300 were out of luck since no more were available.
