Buffalo to Albany, NY

Day 8 - Schenectady to Albany 24 miles
Sunday, July 15, 2002

Yep, this is the same gal seen earlier with her old Schwinn.  It almost completed the trip, but during the sixth day broke down.  Our biking mechanic / guru just didn't have the parts to replace, so she rented a newer one-speed bike in order to complete the ride.
I have a Bike Friday (folding bike) also as does the gentleman in the above photo.  He was very adept at folding it and fitting it into its suitcase.  I have yet to learn how to do this.
Our arrival point back in Albany.  I highly recommend this trip.  In fact, I enjoyed it so much I'm planning to do the Erie Canal ride in 2003 as well.  There is so much to do and see along the ride.
