Distance Description
Turn right from camping area (Route 27).  Downtown Kingfield.  Restaurants available
7.1 Rest area with portable facilities on the right
15.3 Store on left, entrance to Sugarloaf ski area.

Appalachian trail crosses here.
22.4 Restaurant on right as you enter the town of Stratton
23 Restaurant on right and store - downtown Stratton
24.7 Snack Shak on right
26.7 Cathedral Pines - Location of Kings Pines - Pines marked for navy ship masts with the King's symbol.  Small store with deli nearby.
51 Cross border into Quebec. Restroom available at Canadian customs building.  Exchange money at the Citgo station just before the border.
53.6 Town of Woburn - turn left onto route 212, Quest to Notre Dame des Bois, or continue straight .2 miles for lunch at the Motel Arnold restaurant, then retrace route to get onto 212 quest.  There is an ATM 1/2 mile past the restaurant on the right.
54 Maple syrup lines in the woods and sap houses on the right.  An important product in this area.
61 Restaurant on left with nice outside deck and ice cream!
64 You turn left before the bottom of the hill, so be prepared to stop!
64.7 Turn left up hill by church.  This was our accommodations the first night, tenting in the field behind the church.

 

 
We bicycled past Sugarloaf ski area - that may indicate something about the hills we were faced with!
