Our rest stop.  As you can see, the road wasn't very busy here!

  We had a heavy wind and thunderstorm come in early in the evening.  This and our final day were  the only days we had any rain, but we were all at camp so at least we weren't riding in a downpour.

Distance Description
   
  Turn left from camp.
.1 Turn left onto Route 212
8.8 Four way stop - to follow bike route, turn right onto 257.  Restaurant on left.
17.3 Scottstown - Ice cream on left, restaurants, stores.
17.5 Turn right onto 214.
17.8 Bear left, cross bridge staying on 214.  Nice restaurant on pond by dam.
28.5 Milan.  Bear left, continue on 214 EST.  Small store.
32.1 You are parallel with the highest point in the entire Canadian-Pacific railbed.
35.1 Nantes.  Turn left onto 161, small store on right at intersection.  Road between Nante and Stornoway is very busy - ride single file and be alert!  Lots of really big trucks that go at a rapid speed.
37.6 Buffalo herd on left.
43.8 Stornoway.  Ride continues straight. If you turn left, there are two restaurants within a block on the left.
51.6 Food store on right.
51.7 Restaurant and convenience store on left.
53.6 Turn left, stay on 161 Nord.
56.7 Turn right into Camping Auberge Les Burges. This is an established campground with nice sites and a very good restaurant.
57.4 Turn left at T to entrance to campground.
