Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Bicycle Helmet

Always Wear A Helmet

I stopped here over Thanksgiving 2001 on my way back from Florida.  Things were pretty quiet although the campgrounds were doing well.  It was great biking in the area since there was so little traffic compared to what it would be during the regular tourist season.  You can walk about sixteen miles along the beach front with no obstructions.  Access to the beach is set up about every two or three blocks.
