This site is geared toward kids, but a lot of the information is relevant to anyone who is cycling.  It does point out what can happen to people involved in an accident when wearing a helmet and when not wearing a helmet.  While it is the law for a child to wear a helmet, I am of the opinion that it should be the law for an adult as well.  I have seen a number of adults riding without a helmet with their youngsters who, rightly, are wearing helmets.  I would think a good parent would want to be around to take care of their child as he/she grows up.  This is much more possible and probable if the adult is wearing a helmet for safety protection also.
